  24-28, incl. Wednesday-Sunday Thanksgiving Recess for students (no classes), all schools

  29 Monday Classes resume (all schools)

December 6 Monday Meeting, Senate Council

  10 Friday Last day for undergraduate day classes, FALL TERM
  10 Friday SPRING TERM DEADLINE for continuing students to register without a penalty fee
  11-18, incl. Saturday-Saturday College of General Studies classes, all graduate classes, and evening classes will continue to meet during this period; final examinations should be held during the last scheduled class meeting
  13-18, incl. Monday-Saturday Final Examination Period for undergraduate day classes
  18 Saturday FALL TERM ENDS: Official date for degrees awarded in FALL TERM
  19 Sunday Residence halls close
  19-Jan.4, incl. Sunday-Tuesday Winter Recess for students (no classes), all schools
  21 Tuesday FALL TERM Grade Rosters due in Registrar’s Office no later than noon
  24-Jan.3, incl. Friday-Monday Winter Recess for faculty and staff; designated University offices, including major responsibility centers and research projects, will be staffed as necessary during the period*

March 5-12, incl. Sunday-Sunday Spring Recess for students (no classes), all schools; all University offices and buildings remain open and staffed
  10 Friday University’s observance of Great Americans’ Day (University closed)

April 21 Friday Last day for Undergraduate day classes, SPRING TERM
  29 Saturday SPRING TERM ENDS: Official date for degrees awarded in SPRING TERM
  30 Sunday Annual Commencement Convocation
