School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences
The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS) was established in 1969 as the sixth school of the health sciences. The school's mission is not only to educate entry-level practitioners but also to prepare established clinicians to be leaders in their professions. SHRS strives to advance the theoretical knowledge underlying the practice of health and rehabilitation disciplines and professions through research, teaching, and professional service.
SHRS offers programs leading to the following degrees and certificates: Master of Arts, Master of Science, Master of Occupational Therapy, Doctor of Audiology, Doctor of Clinical Sciences in Occupational Therapy, Doctor of Clinical Sciences in Speech Language Pathology, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Doctor of Philosophy, and advanced certificates in Assistive Technology and Disability Studies.
